Physical health and mental wellbeing

As the charitable arm of a professional rugby club, delivering campaigns and programmes that support improvements in health and wellbeing is a natural fit. Our unique position in society provides us with a platform and a recognised brand to deliver key messages and engage groups that may otherwise not have participated.

Good health is about feeling well in your own mind and body. This enables you to:

  • Enjoy your life and make the most of your potential
  • Cope with day to day life and any problem you may face
  • Play a full part in your family and your social circle and your local community.

Most of our programmes are focused on health issues that can be improved through changes in behaviour.

As important as physical health is mental wellbeing. Through our flagship METTLE initiative and our mental health resilience schools programme, we look to increase awareness around mental health and support preventative provision for all young people in our local boroughs and beyond. We are also proud to partner with The Movember Foundation to address the issues around men’s health and tackle stigma, produce awareness campaigns and deliver programmes that support young people to deal with challenges they may face.
