The Harlequins Foundation Launch Youth Advisory Board

The Harlequins Foundation are delighted to be launching a new Youth Advisory Board.

The new board will ensure the voices of young people are represented in decisions made by the Board and the executive team.

The group will be drawn from young people across our programmes, with each applicant needing to be nominated by a member of staff from The Harlequins Foundation.

Young people involved in the board, will have the opportunity to:

  • Take part in consultations to influence decision making
  • Attend meetings and events to promote the voices of young people participating in THF programmes
  • Plan and run campaigns and events to give young people a voice
  • Review our performance, and constructively challenge areas for improvement

Marc Leckie, Head of Foundation, said: “The Board will be a great opportunity to hear from young people and provide a chance for them to shape our programmes.

“It is right for our programmes to be guided by those involved, and I look forward to working with the the Board to make sure we are delivering what they want to see.”

If you, or a young person you know, wants to get involved with the Youth Advisory Board, then please contact foundation@nullquins.co.uk
