Harlequins Foundation Rival Ride

Harlequins supporters and staff complete trip to Gloucester for The Harlequins Foundation

Over Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April riders joined the Harlequins Foundation Team and Club Legends, in the inaugural Harlequins Foundation Rival Ride.

The 50-strong team, including Mel Deane, Olly Kohn, George Lowe, Mike Ross, Jordan Turner-Hall, Paul Volley and Jim Evans, rode over 100 miles from The Twickenham Stoop to Kingsholm Stadium in Gloucester raising over £22,000 for the Harlequins Foundation. The money raised will help the Harlequins Foundation continue to develop and grow its programmes.

Marc Leckie, Head of the Harlequins Foundation said: “We are incredibly grateful to all the participants that took part in the inaugural Rival Ride this year. The whole event was a real success, and although incredibly challenging, the camaraderie and sense of achievement felt by everyone was evident through the conversations I had during and after the ride. We plan to make this an annual event and look forward to welcoming more participants next year.”
